Andy tried to be upbeat, tearfully and haltingly describing
the familiar light in Annie’s eyes and the cute new crookedness of her smile. “She’s
a bit of a bad caricature of herself,” he told them. “Some things more
exaggerated than usual.”
(Ugh. It was all work today. Double ugh.)
